I'm Alexandru Lucian Olah
Born: 15th of October 1993 in Timisoara. Romania
Nicknames: Oli, Beast
My name is Alex Olah and I am a professional basketball player currently playing for CS Rapid Bucuresti in Romania. I have been playing basketball since I was a young kid and it has always been my passion. My journey as a basketball player has taken me to many different places and allowed me to experience a lot of amazing things.
I grew up in Timisoara, Romania where I attended Jean Louis Calderon high school. I finished my high school at Traders Point Christian Academy in Whitestown, Indiana. I became a student-athlete at Northwestern University where I studied Communication Studies with a concentration in English.
After graduation, I signed with Belfius Mons Hainaut in Belgium for one season. In 2017, I played for U-BT Cluj Napoca in Romania and then moved to the Netherlands to play for ZZ Leiden. The following year, I returned to Belgium to play for Kangoeroes Mechelen. In 2019, I signed with CB Rio Breogan in Spain, but the season was unfortunately cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, I returned to my hometown to play for Timisoara for two seasons before signing with CS Rapid Bucuresti, my current team.
In addition to my professional career, I have also had the privilege of representing my country on the Romanian National Team.
Basketball has always been a huge part of my life, but it is not my only passion. I am also very interested in investing and finding ways to generate passive income. I have been investing in real estate and am always looking for new investment opportunities. I am also considering becoming a basketball agent or consultant to help players and clubs succeed on and off the court.
In my free time, I enjoy working on my website, building my athlete brand, and reading. I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows and occasionally playing strategy games on my PC.
I believe in hard work and the idea that nothing worth having comes easy. My personal goal in life is to be able to provide for my family and work from home or not have to travel as frequently. I am always striving to improve and achieve my goals, both on and off the court.
